Terms of Use
Effective June 26, 2026
Educational purpose
Nations Console (the "Site") is provided strictly for educational, informational, and general research purposes. The Site aggregates publicly available data from third-party sources and presents AI-generated summaries to help users understand public information.
Nothing on the Site constitutes investment advice, legal advice, tax advice, accounting advice, policy advice, military advice, intelligence assessment, or maritime navigation guidance. Do not use the Site as the basis for trading, voting, regulatory, safety-of-life, or any other decision without independent professional verification.
As-is, no warranty
The Site and all data, charts, estimates, AI summaries, and news links are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of accuracy, completeness, timeliness, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
AIS vessel data may be delayed, missing, or deliberately spoofed. Daily transit estimates are reconciled from incomplete signals and news headlines and are best- effort approximations, not authoritative counts. Congressional bill summaries are machine-generated and may misrepresent the underlying legislation. Always read the primary source before relying on any figure.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the operator of Nations Console is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of, or inability to use, the Site or anything displayed on it. Your sole remedy if you are dissatisfied with the Site is to stop using it.
Acceptable use
- Do not attempt to break, overload, or scrape the Site at abusive rates.
- Do not redistribute third-party data shown on the Site in violation of the upstream provider's license (e.g., AIS aggregators, news publishers).
- Do not represent AI-generated summaries as authoritative legal text.
- Do not use the Site for any unlawful purpose.
Third-party content
The Site links to external sources (news outlets, government APIs, vendor pages). Nations Console does not endorse and is not responsible for third-party content. Use of third-party data is governed by the third party's terms.
Changes
We may modify the Site or these Terms at any time without prior notice. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state of the Site operator's residence, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute will be resolved in the competent courts of that jurisdiction.
